Oceanarium

Opened in 1998 as part of Expo '98, the Lisbon Oceanarium was created to celebrate the relationship between Portugal and the oceans. Designed around the theme "The Oceans, a Heritage for the Future," it quickly became one of the most visited cultural attractions in Portugal.

Today, it is considered one of the finest aquariums in Europe, combining conservation, education, and marine research while inspiring visitors to better understand and protect the world's oceans.
